Born from the collision of fashion, visual art, and self-expression, Zigentala was first founded in Melbourne as a label providing exclusive hand-painted clothing in 2016. Led by creative director and founder Lilith, Zigentala has since evolved into a creative online ecosystem, resonating with global audiences through art, music and fashion.
Since it's conception, the universe of Zigentala has grown through many niches, including painting tutorials, podcast-based music commentary, and a unique multi-platform social media presence. The label has since invaded the music space with the viral Mini Album Series created in 2022, acknowledged by industry moguls such as Metallica, GENIUS, Smashing Pumpkins and John Kosh.
Through its constant creative metamorphosis, Zigentala is a label that offers cultural value from physical products through to evolving digital landscapes.
Lilith
The creative mind behind Zigentala
Lilith's love for the arts grew as she dabbled in music journalism, street art, djing, and events while studying for a Bachelor of Music in Melbourne. The completion of Lilith's studies led her to take a hiatus from music and rebound into her obsession with visual art. She founded Zigentala shortly after.
Over the next 5 years Lilith operated Zigentala in Melbourne, providing high-quality designs to her international client base, and showcasing collections at Melbourne Fashion Week. Driven by a desire for travel and artistic growth, she relocated the brand to Switzerland in 2022, and later established her reputation as the artist behind the viral Mini Album Series on social media.
Guided by her lifelong obsessions with art, fashion and music, Zigentala expresses Lilith’s devotion to contemporary creative forms. The brand honours the deep interconnection between these artistic worlds and how they collectively shape modern culture and the identities we forge from it.
