We are beyond excited to introduce our website to you!!! As something that has been in the works for over a year, as well as being highly requested and anticipated by many, we are so proud to finally share our new digital space including an online shop, blog, bio, videos and more!
To celebrate this long-awaited release, we've created our first official blog post into an interview-style introduction. So if you're an original follower or a new member to the family, we can fill you in on everything we're about, what we can offer you, and why you should stick around and be apart of our journey!

So, What the F*ck is ZIGENTALA?
We are a Melbourne-based brand that was built off of the intersection of fashion and art, offering exclusive hand-painted garments and items. We're here to make statements and stand out... all for the love of art and expression!
Our mission is not only to provide you with the very finest services in fashion artistry but also to develop a brand with strong cultural definition. The foundation of our business is deeply rooted in our founder Lilith's love for many art disciplines, so we have strong ambitions to make this label far more than just an e-commerce shop or clothing provider. So make sure you keep tabs on us!
Zigentala? What actually does that mean?
Good question. Zigentala is inspired by our founder's name, derived from their central European heritage. We wanted to use an original name for our label as a clean slate to transform into something unique. We also think Zigentala sounds pretty out there... exotic, weird and different, just as we strive to be as a label.
Ok, like, Zi-gen-ta-la? Am I pronouncing it right?
Yes, ZI-GEN-TA-LA. It should roll off the tongue. Don't overthink it, it's pronounced exactly how it's spelt.
So you provide hand-painted clothing and items. How can people get involved in acquiring these?
We offer hand-painted fashion pieces as original works, sold in a shop on our website or as custom garments . Our most popular point of contact has always been through our Instagram page (@zigentala), but now with the release of our website, we are able to offer a more legitimate means of inquiry, along with readily available service information.
Congratulations on your achievements with your website! This must have been a long time coming?
Yes, ever since our first showcase in 2018, we have had constant enquiries about where you can find and buy our products. We are glad to finally answer them all! Also, building a website, in general, has been a tedious process... we are very particular and wanted everything to be perfect! So, as well as providing a new means to purchase products for our followers, we are also very proud to have seen this project through.
What can we expect from you now?
We've just come from a busy month from Melbourne Fashion Week (make sure to check out our blog post and runway video), so accomplishing this website has been a natural progression from all of the hype we've garnered. Now that we have an official base, we will be focusing on growing the store, and extending our range. We have released a small amount of inventory in our shop for now, and will be gradually releasing new products. We've also been working on some styling collaborations with musicians as well, so expect content in that regard soon.
